Professional Service Cancellation and Refund Policy
US Civil Genix provides project-specific professional services. Cancellation and refund treatment depends on the written proposal, work completed, committed capacity, third-party charges, and supplier obligations.
Before work begins
A client may request cancellation before work begins. Any refund is determined after deducting non-refundable processing charges, third-party costs, or amounts identified in the written proposal.
After work begins
After document review, takeoff, estimating, consulting, bid support, training preparation, vendor coordination, or another agreed activity begins, fees attributable to completed work and committed capacity are not refundable. Any eligible balance will be assessed in writing.
Completed services
Completed or substantially completed services are generally not refundable. Correction requests are first evaluated under the agreed scope and revision allowance.
Changes and addenda
New drawings, addenda, changed quantities, added trades, altered deadlines, and expanded scope may require written change authorization and additional fees.
Materials and suppliers
Material orders, special-order items, supplier deposits, freight reservations, duties, restocking charges, cancellation fees, and third-party commitments are refundable only to the extent allowed by the supplier. No material purchase is approved unless confirmed in writing.
Approved refunds
Approved refunds are returned through an available lawful method after eligibility and recipient details are verified. Processing time depends on payment providers and financial institutions and is not guaranteed.
