Bid Support

Responsive pre-bid assistance that helps contractors organize scope, address addenda and submit stronger, more complete proposals.

Service overview

Structured support for critical bid deadlines.

Bid preparation often requires more than an estimate. Our team can help review the invitation, align quantities with bid items, complete pricing schedules and track addenda or alternates.

We organize the estimating information around the submission requirements so your team can focus on strategy, subcontractor coverage and final review.

Service fundamentals

Bid support connects documents, pricing and submission requirements.

Construction bid support helps a contractor or subcontractor understand the invitation, organize the required scope, track bid instructions and perform final checks before submission. It complements—not replaces—the bidder’s authorized commercial decision.

The scope can include drawing and specification review, bid-form preparation, alternates, allowances, unit prices, addenda acknowledgment, vendor or subcontractor coverage, proposal qualifications and final bid review.

Detailed scope

Control the details that can make a bid nonresponsive.

Bid support is structured around the procurement instructions, pricing package and the bidder’s scope responsibility.

01

Invitation and instruction review

Identify due date, delivery method, forms, bonds, certifications and other submission requirements.

02

Bid form support

Populate pricing structures, alternates, allowances, unit prices and breakdowns from client-approved values.

03

Addenda control

Track issued addenda, changed scope and acknowledgment requirements.

04

Scope-gap review

Compare takeoff, estimate, vendor coverage and proposal language for missing or duplicated responsibility.

05

Vendor and subcontractor coverage

Record outstanding quotes, exclusions, qualifications and comparison issues that may affect the bid.

06

Final bid check

Review arithmetic, form completeness, exclusions, acknowledgment and submission package before the bidder authorizes delivery.

Detailed questions

Bid support questions clients ask.

Do you submit the bid on the contractor’s behalf?

Submission assistance can be coordinated, but the bidder remains responsible for final authorization, credentials, certifications, legal representations and timely delivery unless a written scope clearly assigns a permitted task.

Can you complete bid forms?

We can prepare working bid-form entries from client-approved pricing and information. The bidder must review and authorize the final form.

How are alternates and allowances handled?

They are logged separately, tied to the governing documents and checked against estimate coverage so they are not unintentionally included twice or omitted.

Can you track addenda acknowledgment?

Yes. Issued addenda and acknowledgment requirements can be tracked, but the bidder should confirm the procurement authority’s final addendum list.

What is a scope-gap review?

It compares bid requirements, estimate scope, vendor quotes and proposal qualifications to identify work that appears missing, duplicated or assigned inconsistently.

Does bid support guarantee award?

No. Award depends on price, responsiveness, qualifications, competition and owner evaluation. Bid support improves organization and review but cannot guarantee the result.
